Prof Emma Duncan is Professor of Clinical Endocrinology at King’s College London and Honorary Consultant Physician at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Hospital.  Her main research interests are the genomics of endocrine disorders – from common variant disorders to rare monogenic diseases – particularly of skeletal disorders.  Her experience spans from basic to translational and clinical research – including in recent times COVID-19 – and she is an international clinical thought leader in bone and calcium disorders.  She is also experienced in governance, leadership, and mentorship, and currently serves as President of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research.
